Dan joined Frantic Assembly in April 2024 as Head of Learning and Participation. With a varied background, from sports coaching and development to TIE and producing, Dan has spent the last 15 years working within education and outreach. For the last 8 years, as General Manager of Freshwater Theatre Company, he has worked with schools, museums, and arts venues throughout the UK to help embed curriculum learning through interactive drama workshops and shows. This work has also seen the implementation of various new learning programmes and strategies within key cultural venues, with the aim to increase opportunities for access to the arts.
Prior to this he was Head Community Coach at Lifetime tennis (London), developing and delivering programmes for over 150 juniors and 200 adults, whilst working with British tennis (LTA) and Borough Councils to initiate sustainable inner-city school and accessible community programmes, across London.
As a long-term admirer of Frantic (Ignition/workshops circa 2008!), Dan is proud to be working with a company where trust, empowerment, and collaboration is part of the everyday. He is also a long-term supporter/sufferer of the Welsh rugby team, so a supportive working environment is much appreciated
