Linzy Na Nakorn
Linzy is a dance and theatre maker, facilitator and movement director primarily interested in making work for non-conventional performance spaces and for participatory and immersive theatre. She has worked internationally and across the UK and has held guest lecturer positions in devised multi-sensory theatre making for Bristol University on behalf of Bittersuite UK, and on the BA Fine Art, Bodies in Motion module and Worcester College of Art.
Her work intersects with that of advocacy and works strongly with a diverse set of communities to make visceral and collaborative performance.
For stage she has movement directed for The Wardrobe Theatre's touring production of 'Rocky:Shock Horror', Sharp Teeth Theatre's 'Polly: A Heartbreak Opera' as well as being a lead creative and performer for Bittersuite's multi-sensory immersive production Debussy, at Brooklyn Academy of Music, New York.
Linzy received her BA Hons in Contemporary Dance at Trinity Laban, and has danced and performed for Jo Fong, Seven Sisters Dance, Protein Dance, Lisa May Thomas and Sacred Motion. She was a shortlisted movement director for the Old Vic 12 in 2016, recipient of the transatlantic award for Buenos Aires International Dance Exchange in 2017 and is an ENGINE Room 21 creative resident at Salisbury Art Centre developing a new dance theatre work.
She has been a practitioner with Frantic Assembly since February 2020 delivering workshops nationally & Internationally for schools, teachers and prospective Ignition participants as part of the Learn & Train programme
