Richard is an actor, movement director, director and practitioner for Frantic Assembly. He trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London. Richard first appeared in Frantic Assembly’s 2008 and 2014/15 UK touring productions of Othello. His work as a practitioner now sees him teaching Frantic Assembly’s devising methods and directing residencies with emerging theatre makers all over the UK and internationally.

(Frantic Assembly); Emil and the Detectives (National Theatre); Pygmalion (Old Vic), the feature film The Legend of Tarzan (Warner Bros.) and the Opening Ceremony of the 2012 London Olympic Games.
His work as a Movement and Fight Director includes Common Lore (Stute Theatre/Northern Broadsides); A Midsummer Night’s Dream (The Faction); A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Tooting Arts Club).
His work as an Associate Director includes The Passenger and Belt Up (Box Clever).
