Sophie trained in Dance and Drama at Winchester University. She completed a PGCE at Central School of Speech and Drama and taught in an East London secondary school, full time for 7 years. She left teaching and began running creative projects for vulnerable adults as well as young people at risk of underachievement in school. During this time Sophie worked freelance for a variety of theatre companies including Freshwater Theatre Company, Clean Break Theatre Company, and Sadler’s Wells Theatre. She began working for Frantic Assembly in 2017 as a practitioner. She is Associate Movement Director for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and is proud to have co-directed the pilot Female Ignition.
